New book about Modi’s government

Guwahati: China has been funding separatist and radical organizations in the Northeast and claims to be a new book, “Modi’s Bharat: A decade of achievement.”

The book also claims that China is “funding several radical groups in Manipur”. “The Manipur people have 34 ethnic-based radical groups (10 from Meitei, 22 from Kuki, and 2 from Naga Communities; many of them are funded by China and Pakistan,” says the book by Amit Bagaria and Savio Rodrigues.

The claims filed in this book are at a time when the Center is working to bring peace in Manipur. The book claims that the Manipur violence was subject to “stakeholders of the narcotics trade of Rs 7 billion and the proxy war in China”.

The authors say that Meitei and members of the Kuki community fled the village after the outbreak of violence in Manipur. They claimed that the violence in Manipur “393 temples and 317 churches were burned down”.

The book claims Burmese immigration has increased tensions in Manipur. “The Myanmar civil war that has been going on since the country’s independence in 1948 further escalated tensions in Manipur in 1948, with the influx of illegal immigrants from Kuki-Chin. More than 40,000 illegal immigrants from Myanmar live in Mizoram and have more than 4,500 on Manipur.”

The book further claims: “Since 1947, China has designed in the northeastern region of India.” “By its foreign spy agency MSS, the Ministry of State Security, the Northeast region and China’s Ladakh, recruits are trying to convince people that, like Pakistan did in Kashmir, they are not Indians.”

The author also claimed that the Chinese recruits in the Northeast “tell people that they are facial contours, and that food habits and culture are more like China. China has been funding separatist and radical organizations in the Northeast.”

The author believes that the Chinese neighbors in the Indo-Pacific are seeking stability and security from India, while the Chinese muscles are bent with them. “With the ongoing military operations in the East and South China Seas, Chia has also shown aggressiveness to Japan, South Korea, the Philippines and Vietnam, as well as Indonesia, and to some extent, all of these countries are strengthening their ties with India, which they believe is the only balance against China,” the book adds. ”

They also pointed out that the Northeast has been overlooked by the center for nearly seventy years. In sharp contrast to Jamu and Kashmir, the region is “exposed” by the center “despite the threat of China” despite the much larger population in the Northeast.

“It is debatable whether J&K and Ladakh were more neglected by successful governments for 66.8 years before (Prime Minister Narendra) Modi, or did the Northeast face a more step-fatherly treatment,” added the authors in the book.

They asserted: “Given the fact that the population of eight northeastern states is almost 3.71 times that of J&K states in 2011, it may be more important to pay attention to the development of the region, especially given the designs that China has for it.”

The book celebrated infrastructure development in the northeast during his tenure as Modi government and noted: “The arrival of tourists in the region increased from 74.71 million in 2015 to 12.3 million in 2023, converting a 65% increase in eight years”.

The author also noted that “Modi’s government has spent up to Rs 5.47 crore in the Northeast over the past decade.
