New command center to improve security in the North District

Hyderabad: North District Police opened a newly established command and control center in the Bounpali Police jurisdiction on Wednesday as part of an effort to improve public safety. The facility is equipped with 123 CCTV cameras (including with advanced board recognition technology), launched by DCP (North Zone) Sadhana Rashmi Perumal.
“The initiative is in line with the Telangana government’s vision to transform the country into a global model of development and inclusiveness. A key component of this vision is zero tolerance for crime against women, implemented through proactive policing measures such as technological integration and community collaboration,” the DCP explained. ”
DCP further stated that the Hyderabad City Police Department is working closely with responsible corporate entities and communities to create a safer and safer environment for all. She stressed the importance of CCTV cameras in preventing crime, detecting crimes and tracing suspects, which in turn strengthened public confidence and strengthened law enforcement.
