New private homeopathic college has approved Chittoor district

A new private homeopathic academy was approved for a major push by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government of the Centre and the State, and the state towards the popular Ayush Systems Purrianing Ayush Systems Purrianing Ayush Systems, a new private homeopathic academy became Chittoor’s new private academy.

According to a formal release on Tuesday, Minister of Health, Education and Family Welfare Y. Satya Kumar Yadav has approved the establishment of a homeopathic academy in Muthirevula Village, Puthalapattu Mandal in the region. The private university will be run by the Srinivasa Education Society, and will be named after the “Venkateswara Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital” and will accept 100 students each year. The association already has a 50-bed hospital.

The minister approved the proposal after a detailed study of the required infrastructure and other amenities, the press release said.

Currently, the state has seven homeopathic colleges that consume 500 undergraduates each year in homeopathic medicine and surgery (BHMS) programs. Three of these seven are government colleges, located in Gudiwada, Raja Mahadravaran and Kadapah, which recognize 120 students each year. The other four are the private homeopathic colleges, located in Guntakal, Tirupathi, Tadepallegudem and Vizianagaram. Their enrollment intake is approximately 400 students.

Each of these homeopathic colleges is providing outpatient services to about 250 people and inpatient services to 15 people a day.
