New Delhi: New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon will visit India from March 16 to 20, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEA) pointed out in an official statement.
According to the schedule shared by the MEA, PM Luxon will arrive in India on March 16 and meet with Foreign Minister Dr. S Jaishankar later that day. On the second day of his visit, he will put a wreath on Rajghat and will then hold a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
As the MEA observed, leaders will see Mous’ exchange at Hyderabad House and PM Luxon will meet Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Health and Family Welfare Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda will call on the Prime Minister of New Zealand on Tuesday, March 18.
In its statement, the MEA said Luxon PM will fly to Mumbai on Wednesday, March 19. In Mumbai, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will call on PM Luxon and will then meet with Maharashtra Governor, Raj Bhavan’s CP Radhakrishnan.
The New Zealand Prime Minister’s resignation is scheduled to be held on March 20.
Luxon said strengthening India-New Zealand relations is their top priority.

Luxon said he wanted to increase trade and business opportunities between the two countries and promote New Zealand as an investment destination.
He said: “India is the fifth largest economy in the world and I am focused on increasing trade and business opportunities between the two countries and promoting New Zealand as an investment destination. Trade is a key part of our economic development plan to reduce the cost of living and create more jobs and more jobs and higher incomes for all New Zealanders.”
