The strike was carried out to avenge the victims of the Pahargam terrorist attack and eliminated the leaders involved in the planning and execution of the terrorist attacks in India.
“Not long ago, the Indian armed forces launched Operation Sindoor, hitting Pakistan's terrorist infrastructure, where Pakistan occupied the terrorist Jamu and Kashmir, from where it planned and directed terrorist attacks to attack India.”
“Our actions have been centrally focused, measured and non-localized in nature. There are no military facilities targeting Pakistan. India has shown considerable limitations in selecting goals and implementing methods,” the statement added.
Sources told ANI that the Indian armed forces successfully attacked nine terrorist targets, including four including Bahawalpur, Muridk and Sialkot, and used five terrorist targets in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK) using a special precise rhythm in coordinated surgery. The operation was carried out jointly by the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force and the assets and forces were mobilized. Sources confirmed to ANI that PRIME Minister Narendra Modi had been monitoring operations in Sindoor throughout the night. Sources further revealed that the strikes on all nine targets were successful. The Indian forces selected the locations to target top Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) leaders involved in sponsoring terrorist activities in India.Meanwhile, three innocent civilians lost their lives after the Pakistan Army violated the ceasefire by resorting to unprovoked and indiscriminate firing, including artillery shelling, from across the Line of Control (LoC) and the International Border (IB) Indian troops said opposite Jamu and Kashmir, saying Tuesday night.
The incident occurred on the evening of May 6-7, when Pakistani troops opened fire on civilians indiscriminately. Indian troops said it is responding in a “proportionate way” with unwarranted aggression.
“On the evening of May 6-7, 2025, the Pakistani army resorted to arbitrary fire, including shelling from posts on the line of control and shells opposite the IB. Three innocent civilians were killed in indiscriminate shooting/aircraft. The Indian army said in a formal statement that the Indian army was making a proportional response.”
