BITS PILANI collaborates with the French Institute Ecole Central esuperlac Paris to promote future innovation opportunities

BITS PILANI has signed a common agreement with Ecole Centralsuperlac, a leading engineering institution in Paris, France, which will pave the way for future academic innovation and opportunities to benefit students and faculty.

The agreement was signed by Bits Pilani Vice President Prof. V. Ramgopal Rao and Professor Didier Clouteau, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ecole Centralsuperlac, to provide a two-person (2+2) undergraduate degree program, which is Mathematics and Computing. Based on 2+2 dual degree programs, students spent their first two years at Pilani and on Ecole Central esuperlac, eventually achieving their Fragment and Ecole Central Supersuperlac degrees.

Founded in 1829, Ecole Central esuperlac is a French public institution known for its outstanding French public institutions in engineering and systems science, and has campuses in Paris-Sacre, Metz, Retz, Retz and Rems.
Professor Ramgopal Rao, Vice President of Bits Pilani, said: “This partnership with Ecole Centralsuperlac has enabled Pilani to achieve an important milestone in integrating the academic system globally. We hope to combine the complementary strengths of the two institutions to enable our two institutions to provide our students with the same knowledge as they can get these established startups and rely on these established startups and rely on these startups to grow their connected people and to grow their capabilities and to combine their interconnected and networked approaches. Academic standards are eager to achieve, but also add significant value to the higher education landscape in India.”

The program also opens the door to global exposure, interdisciplinary research and enhanced career prospects for students.


Admissions for the program will begin 25-26 from the beginning of the academic year, through BITSAT 2025.
