NHAI exceeds highway target, hits Rs 250 crore

A state-owned NHAI built 5,614 kilometers of national highways in the 2024-25 fiscal year, targeting the 5,150 kilometers of target, an official statement said. During FY24-25, NHAI used three modes for monetization, including Toll Operational Transfer (TOT), Invit, and Toll Security. “In the fiscal year, NHAI’s assets totaled Rs 287,24 crore,” the statement said, adding that this includes NHAI’s highest single-round invitation receipt worth Rs 17,738 crore.
