Nia Barbecue Two Youths Arrested for Owning Explosive Materials in Vizianagaram

A senior team from the National Bureau of Investigation reportedly came from the National Bureau of Investigation (May 19, 2025) and grilled two young men who were arrested by Vizianagaram police on charges of alleged possession of bomb bombs.
The team arrived Monday morning and asked Siraj-ur-Rehaman and Syed Sameer who were detained by two town police stations in Vizianagaram. The two have aluminum powder and sulfur powder.
Vizianagaram Police Chief Vakul Jindal and other senior police officers interacted with NIA officials and provided opinions collected from various sources over the past two days. Senior officials avoided media issues and declined to comment on the NIAS investigation.
Sales of Explosive Materials Holding in Vizianagaram
Sources say Vizianagaram has been the main destination for selling explosive materials. Many dealers who obtained licenses from the government have verified the authenticity of the buyer and sold it for quarry explosions and other purposes. Almost all stores stopped selling against the backdrop of arresting two young people.
Among the arrested duo, Siraj is a native of Vizianagaram, while Syed Sameer belongs to Hyderabad.
As the Union Home Ministry is paying attention to this issue, local police officials have been in touch with their seniors in Vijayawada, Hyderabad and New Delhi.
