Teenage girl killed in a crash on Koheda Service Road; the car is getting harder and no stopping

An 18-year-old student was killed and a 20-year-old was injured on Thursday evening (10 April 2025) on Koheda Service Road in the suburbs of Hyderabad.

The deceased Oppu Spandana is riding a horse on a two-wheeler driven by her neighbor Sai Kumar (a private employee). The two traveled along the service road when a speeding car, a sedan crashed into them from behind, constantly hitting them.

Police said: “Spandana succumbed to her injuries on the spot. Sai Kumar was injured and taken to a nearby hospital by locals.”

Abdullapurmet police have registered a case and are scanning CCTV footage in the area to try to identify the vehicles involved. An investigation is currently underway.
