Nitin Gadkari says, “Jo Karega Jaat Ki Baat, Usko Kass Ke Marunga Laat”, rejecting caste-based politics

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari conveyed a powerful message about equality and his refusal to engage in caste politics at a convening ceremony at the Central Indian Institution Group in Nagpur on Saturday.

The BJP leaders point out that a person’s value should be judged by its quality, not by caste, religion, language or gender.

He said: “A person is not known for his caste, sect, religion, language or gender, but only for his qualities. That’s why we do not discriminate against anyone by caste, sect, religion, language or gender.”
Although caste often plays a major role in Indian politics, Gardkari is firmly in his position, and even if he spends his votes, he vows not to engage in caste-based politics.

He noted that he avoided discussing religion and caste in public discourse because he believed that people value “serving society.”


“Jo Karega Jaat Ki Baat, Usko Kass Ke Marunga Laat,” he reiterated, recalling his remarks from the last election campaign. While he said some of his friends suggested opposing such statements, fearing that it would harm his political career, Gadkari declared on his principles, proclaiming, “if he would cover up his life. The importance of education in transforming communities, narrating how he as MLC transferred the licence of the engineering college to Anjuman-e-Islam in Nagpur, because he believed “they needed more.”

He stressed that access to education can help improve the entire community and took Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam as an example to demonstrate how education empowers individuals and leads to progress.
