Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren says battle with the Naxals in the final stage

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said on Sunday (April 13, 2025) that the battle with the Red Rebels is in the final stages of the state.

Mr. Sauron and Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar paid tribute to the remains of Sunil Dhan, who died the day before in an explosion in the West Singhbhum area.

A wreath ceremony was held in memory of Jawan, who was killed at the Jharkhand Jaguar headquarters in Ranchi.

“The battle with the Naxals is the final stage. During the anti-Naxal operation, we lost several jawbones. Because of them, we are moving towards successful actions.”

He asserted that Jiawan’s sacrifice would not be futile and that the actions against the Maoists would reach their final destination.

“This is an unfortunate event. The state government has been working to minimize such incidents. The government will take care of Martyred’s family.”

Jharkhand Jaguar Police Department, Sunil Dhan and CRPF Jawan Vishnu Saini were injured in an IED explosion in West Singhbhum district in Jharkhand on Saturday.

Both were airlifted to Ranchi for better treatment. Mr Dan succumbed to his injuries during treatment at a Ranch hospital, police statement said. It added that the situation of Saini was considered crucial.
