Notification to slap MLC on illegal mining slander in Gudur

Nellol: Gudur rural police issued a notice to YSRC MLC Meriga Murali after announcing plans to visit the Srinivasa Quartz mine on Saturday with party leaders and supporters visiting the Srinivasa Quartz mine.
Police said the mine is located in Chennur Panchayat in the Tirurupati area and is privately owned and any on-site visit requires approval from the government or mining department.
Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, MLC said the lease term for the Srinivasa mine had expired and shortly after TD was put on the right, management had obtained government permission to transfer the already mined quartz and transport the stock located in the mine to the mine within a week.
“While the permit is just to transfer the stock, the mining company has started mining activities on a large scale that illegally deals with quartz,” Mulally said, criticizing police for blocking him from visiting the mine to prove his allegations.
