Novotel Vijayawada Varun celebrates bold flavors and Tandoori traditions with Punjab Zaika utsav

The smoky aroma, cheese spice and cream butter of tandoor are fused together to create a rich and comfortable flavor that defines the Punjabi culinary heritage. Novotel Vijayawada Varun brings this warmth and boldness to the city, showing off the Punjabi Zaika utsav, a celebration of 10-day Punjabi cuisine.
The festival is held in the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, where guests are invited to taste the menu to capture the essence of Punjabi’s favorite dishes. The menu is curated by chef Smruti Ranjan Das and presents timeless recipes passed down from generation to generation, highlighting the diversity and depth of North Indian flavors.
Guests can indulge in classic works such as Chole Bhature, Amritsari Kulcha, Butter Chicken and Dal Makhani, as well as other regional favorites. Each dish is prepared using traditional techniques that bring bold spices, smoky rich and signature textured Punjabi foods to be famous.
To complement the dining experience, the restaurant will be decorated with themed décor, inspired by the mustard fields and festive spirit of Punjabi mustard. Live folk music performances will make the evening live and add cultural touch to the culinary journey. Whether you are a fan of the hearty Tandoori fare or are curiously exploring the tastes of Punjab, this festival has an unforgettable dining experience.
