Police said on Sunday (April 6, 2025) that a man was arrested for allegedly harassing and touching tourists visiting the Taj Mahal in the Czech Republic.
They said the incident allegedly took place on April 3 and the arrests were conducted after a thorough investigation.
They added that the woman claimed in a written complaint from the Tourism Police Department that she was “inappropriately touched and harassed” while walking along Shamshan Ghat Road around 1 p.m.
Police registered a case and began an investigation, deploying multiple teams to seize the defendants.
“The case registered a complaint from foreign women. Several convoys were deployed to find the defendant. (From) scanned several CCTV cameras in the area. Karan Rathore, the defendant, was arrested Sunday after the investigation.”
The woman has identified Rasol as the defendant and has been detained, the official said.
