The week starting Monday will have several special days including Maharana Pratap Jayanti, Akshaya Tritiya, Labor Day and Maharashtra Day. It is worth noting that stock market holidays are different from public holidays and bank holidays. Therefore, transactions will only be closed during a specific holiday. Stocks will not be closed on Akshaya Tritiya, which fell on April 30.
However, due to Maharashtra Day, the stock market will be closed on May 1. Celebrate the formation of Maharashtra in 1960. Since both the Mumbai Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) are located in Mumbai, market holidays will be observed. May 1 is the entire state holiday, with all banks and offices closing, including trading markets.
May 3 and May 4:
Additionally, the market will close on May 3 and 4, which will set off on Saturday and Sunday. By default, weekend transactions are closed.
