According to the latest survey report by Serbian crowdsourcing data platform Number, Serbia’s security index score is 55.7. This score indicates the country’s level of security, with a higher score, indicating a safer environment.
The report also shows that the United States ranks 89th on the list, indicating that Serbia is considered safer than the United States. This ranking is surprising for the general perception of the United States as a relatively safe country. Further raising expectations, India ranked 66th in travel in 2025. Nearby Pakistan performed slightly better, finishing 65th with an index score of 56.3. Palestine, despite ongoing conflict with Israel in Gaza, also ranks higher than India in No. 61.
These rankings highlight significant differences in global security perceptions, with several countries ignoring conventional expectations. The report’s findings encourage the reassessment of safety standards and travel consultations worldwide.
