Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will launch the highly anticipated Bhu Bharathi portal (rights record) on April 14, which will lead to the resolution of issues related to land transactions.
Tax Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said the Telangana Bhu Bharati (Record of Rights) Act will ensure effective and comprehensive tax services for people.
He said the former BRS government enacted the ROR bill without setting the necessary rules and procedures, which led to complications of land transactions related to farmers.
The minister said the former government did not provide legitimacy to correct the wrong powers in Dalani’s records. Only notices were issued, so records cannot be officially changed. In addition, issues such as the maintenance of Pahani and rural tax accounts and the regularization of Sadabainam have also been overlooked. Now, all these issues will be resolved through a new bill, he said.
He said the Bubukhara portal will resolve the ancient dispute and the department is taking steps to provide better services to the people.
