Odisha CM says national stance, Naveen Patnaik pays tribute to the armed forces

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday praised the Indian armed forces for their appreciation of Pakistan’s terror camps and precise strikes in Pakistan’s occupied Kashmir under Operation Sindor, asserting that the country was united with brave soldiers.
Majhi wrote in an article on X (formerly Twitter): “India is united. Sacrifice to our brave armed forces with the precision and determination shown by #OperationsIndoor. Every strike of horror is a message – we will not tolerate threats to our sovereignty.”
The military operation was in response to the recent terrorist attacks in Pahalgam, which claimed 26 civilian lives. In a swift and decisive move, Indian forces conducted a missile strike earlier on Wednesday targeting nine terrorist hubs, including Jaish-e-Mohammad's base in Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba in Muridke.
“In our culture, 'sindoor' is not only a tradition; it is a symbol of sacrifice and unwavering determination. The same spirit drives our soldiers.”
CM confirms that India is no longer just defending itself, but is decisively dismantling the foundations of terrorism. “We are very grateful for the courage of the armed forces. The whole country stands with them. We believe in their victory. Jai Hind! Mother India, may you live forever!” he added.
Opposition leader of the Odisha Parliament and BJD President Naveen Patnaik joined the chorus of appreciation and also paid tribute to the armed forces. Patnaik posted on social media from Delhi, “I was told that the Indian armed forces have successfully carried out operations against terrorist targets. I congratulate them with all my heart.
Operation Sindoor, launched two weeks after the Pahalgam Massacre, marks an escalation of India's counter-terrorism strategy and reaffirms the country's determination to protect its sovereignty and citizens.
