tirupati: A land survey was conducted on Saturday at Bugga Mutt, led by land surveyor Chitti Babu District Inspector and Assistant Commissioner of Donation, Ramakrishna Reddy. The investigation was initially delayed due to a visit from the 16th Finance Committee last month to investigate alleged embezzlement of donated land.
The donation department issued a notice on April 11 claiming that the investigation number was 3.88 acres, allegedly 261/1 and 261/2 were encroached on by former minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy and three others. In response, Peddireddy denied any connection to the land, and his brother Dwaraknath Reddy purchased it.
