OISCA is named by NABET as an advisory organization for environmental assessment

The South India chapter of OISCA International has been recognized as conducting environmental impact assessments (EIA) by the National Accreditation Committee of the National Education and Training (NABET), a constituent body of the Indian Quality Commission. The Council aims to cultivate a quality culture in all development activities, so any construction project over 20,000 m2 will need to be cleared in advance. NABET grants certification to the appropriate organization for EIA. Oisca now has the right to conduct EIA for large-scale construction projects of 20,000 to 1,50,000 square meters.

In addition, according to the press release, the South India chapter of OISCA International complies with the requirements of ISO 14001:2015, requiring environmental education, conservation activities and green audits in educational institutions.
