Okays Investments of SIPB Meeting 17 Companies; Expected Rs 31,167 crore: CM NAIDU

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu made it clear on Thursday that the state would receive Rs 311,67 crore in investment from 17 companies.

Naidu presided over the fifth State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) meeting and told officials that it is also important for these industries to start production on time.

“When a project is approved, it is necessary to obtain the entrepreneur’s details on the day of production start. The progress of such projects should be closely monitored.”

“The SIPB meeting approved investments from 17 organizations in areas such as industry and commerce, food processing, IT and energy to create 32,633 jobs. Officials must provide detailed information at the next SIPB meeting on how many companies were up to then and how much jobs were created,” he said.

CM requires officials to create a portal and provide details about how much work the organization provides and who it provides.

The IT Minister Nara Lokesh, who attended the meeting, appealed to the applicant department at the nominal price to CM, which would help attract more IT companies to the state. Naidu said that for this purpose, IT policies will be revised.
