Omar Abdullah accuses Pakistan of targeting J&K civilian areas

Jamu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said on Wednesday that Pakistan “does its best” to target the civilian population of coalition territory after India’s missile strikes targeted the terrorist infrastructure of neighboring countries.
Abdullah told PTI Videos after presiding over the review meeting here: “With the report coming, Pakistan has done its best to target civilians. So I have taken stock of this situation and we are dealing with it.” The Chief Minister said India has done everything it can to ensure that no military and civilian targets are being striked.
India is expected to use its right to respond in an appropriate and proportionate manner after Pahalgam's inhuman and brutal murder of 26 innocent civilians. I think the Indian government and the Indian Defense Forces have done everything they can to ensure that there are no terrorist attacks in Pakistan. They only hit the terror base. ”
Earlier, Abdullah chaired a meeting to assess the government's strike along India in control and border areas, Pakistan accused Pakistan of targeting the JK civilian area.
“A meeting was held to assess security and preparation in border/LOC areas. The focus was on protecting civilian lives, strengthening infrastructure and ensuring a rapid response to any emerging challenges.
Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani, Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo and Department Commissioner Kashmir VK Bhiduri attended the meeting.
Officials based in Chamu joined the meeting via video conference.
A review meeting was held against the backdrop of Pakistan’s civilian shelling of Jamu and Kashmir, after Indian armed forces conducted missile strikes in neighboring countries to target terrorist infrastructure there.
