Omega Hospital CEO Dr Ch Namrata was arrested by Raidurgam police when she bought cocaine from a supplier in Mumbai late Friday. The police caught 50 grams of contraband together with cash.
Defendant Dr. Ch. Namrata was arrested near her residence in Shaikpet while receiving contraband. She was arrested along with supplier Balakrishna and was sent back to judicial custody on Friday night.
After prompts and technical intelligence, the police arrived at the scene.
“After the supplier arrived in Hyderabad, he called Namrata and sent him to his delivery location.”
Police said samples were collected and sent to Telangana Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for analysis. The supplier is in custody and the police are looking for another person, said to be a local vendor, who is involved in the transaction.
