Vijayawada: Prime Minister Narendra Modi directed the chief secretary of the various state governments to ensure timely and prompt completion of national and inter-country projects. He held a video conference with Delhi’s chief secretary on Wednesday to review progress on the complaint of Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana Yojana, through the implementation of the Tumkur-Rayadurga project of the Kalyanadurga New Railway Line project and the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister stressed the need to quickly resolve complaints related to Pradan Mantri Mantree vandana Yujana. He also urged the successful implementation of PM Vishwakarma Yojana and directed the railway sector to coordinate with the Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka governments to speed up the completion of the Tumkur Railway Line project.
K. Vijayanand, chief secretary of Andhra Pradesh who was almost in the meeting, told the Prime Minister that Tumkur -Rayadurga was approved in 2009 through Kalyanadurga New Line (206 km), with the initial project cost of Rs 970.34 crore and paid Rs 970.34 crore and received various costs for various costs. The new target for 2027 is completed for the year.
Vijayanand said that 75 km of work has begun in the total 93 km of the railway line passing through Andhra Pradesh, and the remaining 18 km of construction is underway. He further confirmed that in Andhra Pradesh, the issue of no land acquisition is still pending.
