The Andhra Pradesh Capital Regional Development Authority (APCRDA) will make a large-scale arrangement before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to Amaravati, where he will officially restart the capital’s architectural works at a grand public meeting.

Nearly half a million people expected to abandon agricultural land under the Land Summarization Plan (LPS) in 2014 are expected to participate in the event. To handle the massive turnout, APCRDA is ready to park at 11 locations and is expected to arrive on more than 7,000 buses and 3,000 cars on eight designated routes around the site.

In addition to parking, APCRDA ensures drinking water, food, temporary toilets, street lighting and lighting for major buildings including the existing secretariat. The daisy where Prime Minister and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will speak to the crowd is also about to be completed.

Gallery was set up for various parts of the various participants including VVIP, VIP, government officials, Amaravati farmers and the public. The Prime Minister will present to the Prime Minister a special photography exhibition on the development of Amalawati and a speech on the planned iconic government complex.

Minister Narayana pointed out that transport and parking are key components of active logistics. He added: “The Chief Minister has directed officials to prepare alternatives when it rains to avoid parking.”

Officials have been directed to make additional parking arrangements, exceeding the estimate of 3,000 buses and 1,000 vehicles, with current plans to accommodate up to 7,000 buses and 3,000 vehicles.
