The Indian Meteorological Agency said on Wednesday that light rain/thunder therapy may occur in several places in the Udupi and Dakshina Kannada area from May 1 to 4.
Meanwhile, the Udupi area recorded 1.3 mm of rainfall in 24 hours (April 30, 2025). Karkala Taluk recorded 3.9 mm rainfall, Udupi 0.7 mm rainfall, KAUP 1.1 mm rainfall, Hebri Taluk recorded 3.1 mm rainfall during the same period.
