Havildar Murali Nayak’s deadly remains were killed in a shooting at the Line of Control (LOC) in Pakistan on Thursday night, arriving at Bangalore Airport on Saturday night and were formally received by Minister Andhra Pradesh of BC Welfare S. Savitha.
Then, Jawan’s body was taken on the way to his hometown Sri Satya Division. The parade from Gummayyagaripalli to Kalli Tanda in Gorantla Mandal, hundreds of villagers, his classmates and friends line up on the way to pay tribute to Nayak.

The parade took three hours to arrive at Kalli Thanda Hamlet.
Senior officials from the Income and Police Department and military officials in Bangalore formally took the body and handed it over to their families.
According to the district government, the last ceremony is scheduled for Sunday. Following public tributes between 6 and 8 a.m., the family ceremony will be held from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. according to its custom, followed by a military honor ceremony and a state honor ceremony between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
The funeral parade will begin at 10 a.m. and then pay tribute to the martyrs. The officer will then hand over the flag to Nayak’s parents as honor. The ceremony will end with a traditional cremation of family members in the afternoon.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Hrd Nara Lokesh, Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav and Deputy Minister Pawan Kalyan, United Anantapur Regional Legislators, visited Kalli Thanda for the funeral.
