Chinese Foreign Minister spokesman Guo Jiang said on Tuesday that the bilateral relations between China and India prove how the two countries contributed to each other’s growth through a collaborative dance of “dragon and elephant”. This statement is marked on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the bilateral relations. He added that President Xi Jinping and Indian President Droupadi Murmu, as well as Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang and Prime Minister Narendra Modi exchanged congratulatory messages on the occasion.
“Today marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and China,” PTI reported.
During the media briefing, he shouted that China and India are both ancient civilizations, and major developing countries and important members of the global South are at a critical stage of modernization.
He said he responded to the history courses of the two countries, “The history courses of our bilateral relationship show that being a partner of each other’s success, and that the collaborative dance of dragons and elephants is the right choice for both sides.”
