OP SINDOOR: India approves the emergency procurement authority of the Wehrmacht for the purchase of weapons, ammunition

Defense Department officials told ANI that the Defense Acquisition Committee awarded approvals at its meetings of the Supreme Defense Department and Military Brass.
In emergencies, the troops focus on purchasing equipment such as surveillance drones, Kamikaz drones, long-range roaming ammunition and ammunition for artillery, air defense, missiles, and different types of rockets.
The troops rained on targets in Pakistan, including Brahmins and scalp cruise missiles.
The troops will have to receive equipment for transactions signed under emergency powers within a prescribed time period.
This is the fifth emergency procurement right granted to the Defense Force in the past five years. Sources said the procurement will be carried out by troops involved in financial advisors of the Ministry of Defense Finance. The Department of Defense is also working on long-term projects for the troops, and senior officials will achieve industry leadership in this regard.
Defense Department officials have held meetings with senior leadership in public sector departments and private enterprises, including solar defense and aerospace.
Emergency procurement authority has helped the Wehrmacht a lot by allowing them to address security challenges by allowing them to procure the spare parts and ammunition they need.
The Indian Air Force and the Indian Navy also obtained rampage missiles to attack Pakistani targets under emergency procurement rights. The troops later issued larger orders for the missiles and will now be produced in that country.
The Indian Army and the Indian Air Force have acquired their Heron Mark 2 drones, which were acquired only under emergency powers to maintain surveillance of on-site operations during operation in Sindoor.
Public sector units such as Bharat Electronics Limited are expected to order 10 orders for low-level radars during operation.
The official said it was a supplement to the six radar positioning orders.
Many Indian companies engaged in drone manufacturing are expected to list orders from these three services as well.
The Indian government could also consider granting additional funds to the troops to meet its requirements in the budget allocation.
Approved while Sindoor operation was still in progress. The Indian armed forces hit 11 out of 12 air bases, causing serious blows to the Pakistan Air Force and causing serious damage to its infrastructure and aircraft. (ANI)
