Operation Kagar in Karregutta Mountain was suspended when the CRPF unit recalls

Hyderabad: Operation Kagar was launched in Karregutta Hills in Mulugu, and the operation bordering Telangana and Chhattisgarh was temporarily suspended as the central government recalled personnel from the Central Reserve Police Service (CRPF) to deploy it at strategic locations across the country amid war tensions between India and Pakistan.
Mulugu’s CRPF liaison officer confirms Deccan Chronicle On Saturday, the suspension of operations on Cagal took effect immediately. Mulugu’s special police team and elite elves of the wings were also recalled.
More than 9,000 CRPF personnel were deployed in Karregutta Hills as part of Operation Kagar to crack the whip of Maoists who were sheltering on the hills. However, the Centre temporarily suspended the operation and asked CRPF personnel to report immediately at the headquarters after tensions on the border between India and Pakistan.
The Anti-Naxal Operation was launched on April 21 in Karregutta Hills to release an area of 800 square kilometers, considered a Naxal Fortress with Maoist influence. Before the operation began, Maoists asked the tribe not to visit Karregutta to prompt security forces to strengthen operations that continued until yesterday.
In the operation, nearly 30 Maoists were neutralized, which also prompted members of various cadres of the banned CPI (Maoist) party to surrender and live a normal life before the Telangana police. On Friday, 38 members of the CPI (Maoist) party surrendered before Bhadradri-Kothagudem.
Meanwhile, the Center’s decision will bring significant relief to Maoists who have declared a ceasefire for six months as several political parties, Democratic associations and people demand that the government negotiate peacefully with them. Jagan, a party official in the Telangana department CPI (MAOIST), announced this on Thursday.
