India sent a clear and clear message to Pakistan: any cross-border aggression will receive rapid and decisive retaliation. As Pakistan scrambled to cover up the consequences of India’s precise strike under Operation Sindor and its own retaliation, killing civilians, New Delhi reiterated its position- India does not seek escalation, but will respond without hesitation. Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesman Randhir Jaiswal praised Indian armed forces for forcing Pakistan to seek a ceasefire in Tuesday’s press conference. “You will certainly thank you for the extremely effective attacks on Pakistan Air Force Base early on May 10. That’s why they are willing to stop firing and military operations now,” Jaiswal said. “Let me know. It’s the power of Indian weapons that forces Pakistan to stop shooting.”
