ORR Toll Plaza supervisor attacked for demanding payment of fares in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Police said two people, including government employees, were asked to pay a fee fare on Tuesday, allegedly attacking a paid square worker here.
Video of the incident was broadcast on local TV channels. Government employees traveling on cars with his relatives arrived at the toll plaza on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and sought waivers to pay tolls. However, the supervisor told him that the exemption did not apply to them and was asked to pay taxes.
The supervisor stopped him from moving forward when the junior assistant at Ranga Reddy District Collectorate refused to pay the toll. A police officer immediately got out of the car and beat the staff, according to a complaint filed by the director of the toll plaza, a police officer said. The case is being registered.
