Osmania University Block Grant raised by Rs 50.59

Hyderabad: The Ottomanian University (OU) (OU) received financial growth from the Telangana government, with its block allocation increasing by Rs 5059 crore to Rs 542.68 crore and providing an additional Rs 100 crore for infrastructure development. The funding is expected to modernize the facilities, enhance research capabilities and improve the overall academic environment of the university.
“The historical growth of funding is a testament to the government’s recognition of the University of Ottomania in shaping the future of Trangana,” said Vice President Kumar Molugaram.
Additional financial support will help universities address global education challenges by expanding research, upgrading learning resources and recruiting top faculty.
The Rs 100 crore infrastructure grant is designed to transform classrooms, laboratories, libraries and digital learning tools to benefit students and faculty directly. University officials said the improvements will create a more competitive and innovative academic ecosystem.
Professor Molugaram expressed his gratitude to the institution for teaching and non-teaching staff, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Malu Bhatti Vikramarka, and senior officials in the finance and higher education sector.
