Ayodhya ssp Raj Karan Nayyar said in an interview with ANI: “Given the upcoming Chaitra Navratri, especially Ram Navami, we have sought other police units from the headquarters, which has been assigned to us. The area will be divided into various areas and individual areas, giving you a pleasant experience and we will provide a good attitude to deveote.
Chaitra Navratri will begin on March 30, 2025. The meaning of the word “Nine Nights” in Sanskrit is dedicated to worshiping the goddess Durga and her nine incarnations, called Navdurga.
Hindus observe four Navratris throughout the year, but only two – Chaitra Navratri and Shardiya Navratri – are widely celebrated as they coincide with the changes in the season. In India, Navratri is celebrated in various ways.
The 9-day festival, also known as Rama Navratri, ends with Lord Ram’s birthday Rama Navami. All nine days in Navaratri are dedicated to commemorating the goddess’ nine avatars “shakti”.
The festival is celebrated with great dedication throughout India, with rituals and prayers commemorating the goddess in various forms.
On March 21, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath also held a meeting with district officials to review preparations for the upcoming Navratri celebration at Pateshwari Devi Temple in Balrampur. The focus of the meeting is to ensure smooth arrangements for the festival.
Shree Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir’s “Pran Patishtha” ceremony was held on January 22 last year, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi taking the main ceremony. Ram Lalla’s idol was carved by famous sculptors from Arun Yogiraj. The idol is 51 inches tall and weighs 1.5 tons, and depicts Shree Ram as a five-year-old standing on a lotus made of the same stone.
