Medak MP calls on society to boycott BRS families

Hyderabad:Medak BJP MP M. Raghunanandan Rao questioned why the BRS government, where KT Rama Rao was minister, did not transfer Kancha Gachibowli and other university land to the University of Hyderabad (UOH) during his tenure. Members of Congress call for Rama Rao, T. Harish Rao and K. Kavitha engage in social boycotts, accusing them of concerns about political mileage issues.
Raghunandan Rao spoke informally with reporters, criticizing the BRS leaders for losing “crocodile tears” on the UOH land issue. He claimed that the BRS government could visit a letter from former regional collectors to the Chief Land Management Commissioner (CCLA) that could facilitate the transfer of land to universities. However, the government deliberately avoided action on this, he claimed.
Raghunandan Rao said he had collected documents related to Kancha Gachibowli land and submitted them to the Central Authorization Commission (CEC) appointed by the Supreme Court. He told me: “CEC members asked me if I would like to call this in the Supreme Court. I gave my consent.” He also noted that Panchanama, which was conducted during the BRS regime, clearly recorded the lands in the UOH.
