Aimim chief Asaduddin Owaisi said on Tuesday that India should respond effectively to last month’s Pahalgam attack and called the incident a savage and timid incident. Residents of a village in Kurgam district found Margre's body on Sunday, accusing the deceased of being taken away by security forces to inquire about the Pahalgam incident.

Police claimed that Magray admitted to being a terrorist ground worker (OGW) and he tried to escape while leading security forces into a hiding place in the forest area.
