According to government sources, the Indian government has taken a firm stance on the ban on 16 Pakistani YouTube channels, including famous channels such as Dawn News, Samaa TV, Ary News and Geo News, according to the recommendations of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The move was to respond to these channels spreading provocative, shared sensitive content, spreading false narratives, and misleading the public about India, its military and its security agencies. This decision is particularly related to the tragic terrorist attacks in Pahargam, Jamu and Kashmir.
