Mumbai: Lucknow Super Giants captain Rishabh Pant was fined Rs 2.4 lakh on Sunday as he maintained a slow super result during the team’s 54-shot loss to the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League.
“Pante was fined 2.4 million INR due to this being his team’s second crime this season, according to Article 2.22 of the IPL Code of Conduct, which is related to the lowest rate super attack,” IPL said in a press release.
“The remaining members of XI, including Impact Player, will be fined INR 6 lakh or 25% of their respective match costs, whichever is less.”
The Mumbai Indians scored 215 points with 7 points and then scored LSG 161 for the fifth straight win in the IPL.
