Shock waves were created across the country in a fearful act of violence, with 26 people (mainly tourists) killed on Tuesday in a serene meadow in the Baisaran valley near the city of Pahalgam and a brutal terrorist attack in Kashmir. Union Home Minister Amit Shah reviewed ongoing investigations and security measures in Kashmir after Tuesday’s attack. Shah also paid tribute to the victims of the Pahargam terrorist attacks in Srinagar, Jamu and Kashmirmin.
