Minister leads team to release BH land from the occupiers

Hyderabad: Transport and trailing squad leader Ponnam Prabhakar led officials to recover 12 acres of government land in the 102/1hak/1 investigation in Banjara Hills. The plot is worth tens of millions and is located opposite the ACB office and has become a target for land sharks.
Accompanied by collectors Anudeep Durishetty, RDO, MRO and other income officials, the Minister personally oversaw the demolition of all unauthorized buildings on the site. “The government will take strict action on antisocial factors that encroach on public land across the city,” Prabakar told the newspaper.
He announced plans to convert the recovered land into public convenience. In Charge Hyderabad chief Prabhakar said Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will have a final call on how to develop major lands to take into account people's interests.
“The land released today will be developed as a park or 'lung space', which benefits people,” he said. The minister added, reflecting on past mismanagement: “We have lost so much valuable land due to the negligence of the previous administration.”
The state government launched the Bhu Bharathi portal, replacing the Dharani Portal, which was earlier a one-stop destination for agricultural land transactions. As the new portal works, people can inform officials to learn about the encroachment of land by governments across the state.
Durishetty checked the website a few days ago and reviewed the progress of the fencing work. He also examined the work done by the Differential Global Positioning System (DGP) to determine the boundaries of government land and prevent any encroachment on land. The cost of galvanized sheets and poles is Rs 3.5 lakh to protect the land.
Prabhakar reiterated the government's commitment, pledging: “We will clear all illegally occupied government land and repurpose it for citizen utilities and green spaces.” He also urged residents to report any further aggression: “I call on people to see if unauthorized developments are found.”
