Pahargam terrorist attack hurts, Gaziabad Muslim women convert to Hinduism, criticize Islam

With the help of Hindu Raksha Dal, she embraced Sanatan Dharma through formal religious rituals. She also changed her name from Neha Khan to Neha Sharma.

A Muslim woman who was affected by the terrorist attacks on Pahargam, Jamu and Kashmir tourists on April 22, left Islam and accepted Sanathan Dama. With the help of Hindu Raksha Dal, she embraced Sanatan Dharma through formal religious rituals. She also changed her name from Neha Khan to Neha Sharma.

Neha Sharma tells how terrorists identify and kill Hindu tourists after asking about religious beliefs. She said witnessing the act allowed her to connect Islam to terrorism. She added that this emotional turmoil prompted her to decide to leave Islam and adopt Sanatan Dharma.

As part of the ceremony, Neha Sharma tied a protective line to the wrist of Pinky Chaudhary, the president of the Hindu Raksha Dal.

In response, Pinky Chaudhary assured her protection and stressed that this act should not be regarded as a religious conversion but as a “hometown return.” She also said the organization welcomes anyone who chooses to embrace Sanatan Dharma.

Pindy Chaudhary revealed that Neha Khan, who was originally from Delhi, had divorced before. Her father forced her to remarry her ex-husband through Halala’s practice, and she refused. Not long after, a terrorist attack in Pahargam was deeply troubled and inspired her to adopt Sanatan Dharma.

A hawa ceremony was held in the Sahibabad office of Hindu Raksha Dal on Tuesday to commemorate her adoption of the faith. Videos of the event have been widely shared on social media.
