Pahalgam terrorist attack: Pahalgam terrorist attacks resulted in 27 lives, while several others were injured. Jamu and Kashmir police’s special squad counter-terrorism forces and Indian troops conducted a large-scale combing operation on a radius of 20-25 km to hit terrorists who fled the scene after the brutal massacre. Initial evidence suggests that Pakistan’s role in the attack was that two of the four terrorists were from neighboring countries.
Once news of the Pahargam terrorist attack reached Pakistan, the Islamic state sent its air force a high alarm, fearing India’s counter-effects. In the past, the Narendra Modi government has conducted two major surgical strikes on Pakistan in the past – the terrorist launch pads against Pakistan occupied Kashmir in 2016 and Balakot in 2019. The Pahargam terrorist attack was the deadliest attack, and Pakistan quickly collapsed while making it interact with it.
Pakistan also puts its military and ISI on alert. The Pakistan Air Force reportedly discovered anomalous movement, indicating their concerns about Indian air strikes or punitive operations.
Meanwhile, Pakistan said on Wednesday that tourists died and 27 people were killed in terrorist attacks in Pahalgam and Kashmir in Chamu. A foreign ministry spokesman said: “We are worried about losing the lives of tourists in an attack in the Anantnag area. We express our condolences to those who are close to the dead and hope for the quick recovery of the wounded.”
Terrorists opened fire in Pahargam on Tuesday afternoon, killing 27 people, mainly tourists, the deadliest attack since the 2019 Pulwama strike.
On Tuesday, the Resistance Front (TRF) was the agent of Pakistan’s banned Lashkar-e-Taiba (Let), claiming to be responsible for the attack. Officials say members of the terrorist group were likely to cross from Kishtwar in Jamu and arrive at Baisaran through Kokernag in South Kashmir.
