This is the most expensive building in the world, not Antilia in Mukesh Ambani, Buckingham Palace, Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the building is in…, the name is…

The four-sided clock of the tower is the largest in the world and can be seen from 16 miles away. Each clock face is 43 meters wide and illuminated by 2 million LED lights.
In the holy city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia, it is only 300 metres from the stunning complex of the skyscraper hotel, just 300 metres from the holy ruins of Islam. The project aims to modernize the city and supports millions of pilgrims who visit pilgrimage every year.
At the heart of the complex is the Royal Tower of Mecca Clock. It is the fourth tallest building and the sixth tallest independent structure in the world. It is one of the most expensive buildings ever, with an estimated cost of £12.6 billion, 35 times larger than London’s Big Ben, according to the Daily Express.
The four-sided clock of the tower is the largest in the world and can be seen from 16 miles away. Each clock face is 43 meters wide and illuminated by 2 million LED lights. Above the clock, large Arabic inscriptions adorn the four edges of the tower.
Construction companies from ten countries are engaged in the project. A German company designed the famous clock. However, non-Muslims cannot enter the city due to the religious rules of Mecca. As a result, some foreign workers, including glass experts from Poland and Germany, turned it into Islam and became part of the on-site team.
The tower was originally planned to be 450 meters high and was the tallest building at that time. But the height was later increased to 600 meters. “The Burj Khalifa is also planned, and when they see the tower at 600 meters, they expand it to 800 meters,” said Mustafa Rasch, CEO of SL Rasch.
The complex is built on the ruins of the historic Ajyad Fortress (18th-century Ottoman Castle). Due to the historical importance of the site, its demolition in 2002 has aroused strong backlash, especially Türkiye.
