Pakistan drone strike kills guard air base in J&K’s Udhampur

Officials said a soldier was hit by debris from a Pakistani drone that was successfully intercepted on Saturday in the air defenses in Jamu and Udhamper districts in Kashmir.

The incident came after India and Pakistan announced a ceasefire, which was exacerbated after Indian armed forces launched missile strikes on nine terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan, with Pakistan and Pakistan occupying Kashmir on May 7 and retaliating against the Pahalgam terrorist attack.

Soldiers were on duty at Udhampur Air Base, which was attacked by Pakistani drones earlier in the day.

Officials said Indian air defense successfully intercepted the air drone, but Jia Wan was hit by falling debris, causing serious injuries.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma paid tribute to the fallen soldiers and expressed sympathy to his family.

“The news about Mart difficulty of Shri Surendra Singh Moga Ji, a resident of the Indian Army soldier Jhunjhunu, is that he was very sad in the case of Mart difficulty when he was performing his national security duties at Udhampur Air Base,” he wrote on X. ”
