Pakistan has received military help amid tensions with India, fighter jets, missiles from these countries | India News

India and Pakistan: Pakistan’s Army has contacted allies seeking military aid to improve its capabilities after Pakistan fears 27 people were killed in the Pahargam terrorist attack. Pakistan also reportedly extended a helping hand to China and Russia to mediate and investigate the terrorist attacks.

Now, Pakistan’s allies Türkiye and China have sent military aid to Islamabad. Türkiye reportedly sent six Hercules C130 planes to Pakistan yesterday. C-130 Hercules mainly performs the tactical parts of air transport missions. It supports weapons and soldiers, weather reconnaissance, aerial spray missions and fire duty. It is presumed that the aircraft brought military weapons to help the Pakistani army.

On the other hand, China has reportedly sent the PL-15 missile to Pakistan. These missiles are deployed on JF-17 fighter jets. The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) reveals images of its latest JF-17 Block III fighter, showing an aircraft equipped with a PL-15 equipped with Visual Range (BVR) air-to-air missiles other than the PL-15, mounted on a twin.

The PL-15 is a long-range air-to-air missile (AAM) guided by an active radar. It is designed to blend high speed with special maneuverability. The report shows that it operates between 200 and 300 kilometers (about 120 to 190 miles) and is able to reach peak speeds above Mach 5.

PL-15, what does the C130 mean for Pakistan?

The enhanced range of PL-15 is expected to allow Pakistani pilots to participate in Indian air assets from a stalemate distance, which could change Pakistan’s air combat balance in aggravated conflict situations. On the other hand, the Hercules C130 will help Pakistan move and deploy troops and ammunition faster.

Is there a counter in India?

Although Pakistan’s PL-15 may be a threat, India’s waves of meteor missiles, spectral EW systems and cyber war assets provide a powerful counterattack. In addition, India has many Pakistan’s unmatched surface-to-air missiles and anti-missile/jet systems. In the case of escalation, India still has the upper hand over Pakistan.
