Pakistan lists Kashmir, Indus River, terrorism as a key issue in talks with India

Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said Kashmir, the Indus Water Treaty and Terrorism remain relevant to India and can be discussed in any future dialogue with neighboring countries. When he was asked about the understanding of stopping all ignition and military operations on Saturday with India’s understanding and was involved in India’s understanding and immediately took an immediate understanding of India to address India’s pending issues and followed immediately.
This understanding was achieved after four days of intense cross-border drone and missile strikes, which left both countries crumbling on the brink of a total war. Asif said India’s main issues related to the Indian Water Treaty (IWT), terrorism and Kashmir could be discussed in potential negotiations with India.
“These are three main issues that can be discussed,” he said. “It would be a welcome development if the ceasefire helps pave the way for peace,” he added, which is too early. Nevertheless, Pakistan insists that New Delhi calls it understanding despite the ceasefire agreed with India in India.
Tensions between India and Pakistan surged last week after Indian armed forces attacked Indian armed forces in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK) in response to Pahargam terrorist attacks. Asif said that as time goes by, opportunities for peace may arise.
The minister said we hope that India, especially its leadership, will one day prioritize the future of the region over party interests, adding that peaceful coexistence based on equality is key to progress in South Asia. He praised the diplomatic support of major allies and friendly countries, including China, Tukuya, Azerbaijan and Gulf partners.
