Pakistan Rangers are detained by Rajasthan border security forces, soaring amid tensions over Pahalgam attack

The development has been nearly two weeks after the border security force Jawan was arrested by the Rangers, due to rising tensions between the two countries following the terrorist attacks in Jamu and Pahalgam in Kashmir.

Official sources said on Saturday that the Pakistan Rangers have been detained by the BSF along the India-Pakistan border in Rajasthan.

The development has been nearly two weeks after the border security force Jawan was arrested by the Rangers, due to tensions between the two countries following the terrorist attacks between Jamu and Pahalgam in Kashmir, 26 of whom, mainly tourists, were killed.

They said the Pakistan Rangers have been detained in the Rajasthan state of the troops.

BSF Jawan Purnam Kumar Shaw arrested the homeless from this international border of Punjab on April 23 and despite strong protests by Indian troops, they refused to hand him over.
