Pakistan has no “loops” to comment on India’s internal affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEA) said in a tough hit statement by the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) on Tuesday.

“We strongly reject Pakistan’s motivation and unfounded comments on the WAQF Amendment Act enacted by the Indian Parliament. Pakistan has no loci to comment on issues within India. Pakistan will look at its own minority better when protecting its own minority, rather than preaching others.

Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry called the new law passed by the parliament on April 3 “discriminatory legislation”, saying: “We firmly believe that this is an infringement of religious and economic rights of Indian Muslims. In particular, the act usurped the property rights of Muslims’ communities and could deprive many of their mosques, shrines and other sacred places.”

“The adoption of this discriminatory legislation also reflects India’s growing majorityism. There are concerns that this will help further marginalize Indian Muslims,” ​​a MOFA spokesperson for Islamabad responded to Islamabad’s problems in a briefing last Thursday.
