Pakistan will respond with “all-out efforts” to protect its “national reputation”: General Munier

Army Director Asim Munir said on Monday that Pakistan will respond with a “going all out” approach to protect its “national reputation” and the well-being of its people. General Munier commented during his interaction with participants in GHQ's 15th National Symposium, according to a statement released by the Army. He “stressed that Pakistan seeks peace in the region and beyond, but if Pakistan's sovereignty and territorial integrity are violated, Pakistan will do its best to safeguard the reputation of its nation and the well-being of its people,” the military said.
The Army head said that terrorism does not know about religion, sect or race and must face unswerving national unity.
He said of the unrest in Balluchistan, “The terrorist organization that promotes its petty and sinister agenda as Balluchistan is a flaw in Baloch’s honor and patriotism.”

He vowed that Pakistan's armed forces and law enforcement agencies would continue to fight the threat of terrorism with the full support of the Pakistani people.
General Munier also stressed that foreign-sponsored terrorism remains the most serious threat to the security and development of Bal Luchistan. He warned that evil designs that attempt to incite violence, spread fear and destroy hostile elements of the province will not allow success.
