Kanika Mann, Angira leads India's first full-scale Zom-Com Jombieland in Punjab

The official poster of the Punjabi film Jombieland, starring Kanika Mann, Binnu Dhillon, Angira Dhar and the introduction Gkhan, has just been unveiled – it's as wild and quirky as fans would have hoped. The film is hailed as India's first mature Punjabi Zombie Comedy (ZOM-COM), and the film is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 13, 2025.
Written and directed by Thaparr, Jombieland takes viewers to a colorful village where the deadly Z1N1 virus is trapped in chaos, which triggers an unexpected zombie apocalypse. In the Madness, the story follows Jeeti and Koko, two lovers fighting with the family opposition – until their struggle for love becomes a desperate struggle to survive.

The film also starred Guri, Dhanveer Singh and Jassa Dhillon, is the first part of an ambitious trilogy that sets the stage for a legend full of romance, laughter and the undead Mad. The banner of the next level work produced by Neeraj Ruhil and Subhav Sharma, it will be released in five languages - Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
The just-released poster teases this wild mix, showing the landscape of the Punjabi countryside with ominous backgrounds – zombies wait in loose, dangerous love and comedy to wait for every corner of blood.
